Jech-photographie
Born in Avignon in 1980, he discovered photography later in life, driven by a growing passion for imagery and commitment. A nursing assistant in the emergency department of Arles for over ten years, he became one of the official photographers of the Collectif Inter-Urgences (CIU), documenting mobilizations in defense of public hospitals and the French healthcare system. His deeply human perspective gives rise to powerful images that travel across France and leave a lasting impression.
Driven by a constant pursuit of excellence, he trained with Raymond Martinez, an emblematic figure of Camargue photography, and took part in several workshops at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles.
His work gradually established itself within the regional artistic landscape. In 2022, he won a photography competition organized by the city of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and exhibited in several venues across the region.
In 2023, he was selected by the Festival de Camargue and exhibited at the Domaine de Méjanes during the Autumn Meetings.
In 2024, he became a judge for the French Photographic Federation. That same year, his photograph Sensuelle was selected for the summer exhibition Forme et Couleur in the gardens of Villa Parry in Le Grau-du-Roi.
The year 2025 confirmed this growing recognition: accredited at the Wimfest in Maussane, he notably photographed Nada Surf and KOKOMO.
On May 3, 2025, he was awarded Second Prize at the National Photography Competition of the Jardin de la Photographie in Vedène, presented by renowned photographer Hans Silvester.
He also exhibited at the Festival de Camargue in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, and one of his photographs of a horse was selected for a summer exhibition at Villa Parry
.
In 2026, his work reaches a new milestone. He will serve as the official photographer of Wimfest in Maussane, featuring headliners Pete Doherty, Bandit Bandit, and The Inspector Cluzo, and will present a series of stage photographs throughout the festival.
That same year, he will exhibit outdoors at the Festival de la Camargue, at the Centre du Scamandre in Vauvert, from May 13 to 17, with a series entitled Camargue, Land of Passion, dedicated to the spirit and traditions of the region.
He is currently working on the photographic illustration of a guide to Arles and its surroundings, prefaced by Christian Lacroix, who praises “a remarkable and deeply personal photographic work.”
His practice revolves around three main territories: Camargue, street photography, and live performance. Always with the same intention: to tell a story. For him, every image is a narrative — and within a single photograph, there are a thousand stories waiting to be imagined.

Aide-soignant aux urgences d’Arles depuis plus de quinze ans, il devient l’un des photographes officiels du Collectif Inter-Urgences (CIU), dont il accompagne les mobilisations pour la défense de l’hôpital public.
Son regard, profondément humain, donne naissance à des images fortes qui circulent à travers la France et marquent les esprits.
Animé par une exigence constante, il se forme auprès de Raymond Martinez, figure emblématique de la photographie camarguaise, et participe à plusieurs stages aux Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie à Arles.
Son travail s’impose progressivement dans le paysage régional. En 2022, il remporte un concours organisé par la ville de Saint-Rémy-de-Provence et expose dans plusieurs lieux de la région.
En 2023, il est sélectionné par le Festival de Camargue et expose au Domaine de Méjanes lors des Rencontres d’automne.
En 2024, il devient juge pour la Fédération Photographique de France. La même année, sa photographie Sensuelle est retenue pour l’exposition estivale Forme et Couleur dans les jardins de la Villa Parry au Grau-du-Roi.
L’année 2025 confirme cette reconnaissance : accrédité au Wimfest de Maussane, il couvre notamment Nada Surf et KOKOMO.
Il couvrira aussi le concert de Ben Harper à Vars lors de l'ouverture officielle de la station.
Le 3 mai 2025, il reçoit le 2e prix du Concours Photo National du Jardin de la Photographie à Vedène, remis par Hans Silvester, photographe mondialement connu.
Il expose également au Festival de Camargue à Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône dans le chapiteau central et voit sa photographie de cheval dans les marais lauréate pour une exposition estivale à la Villa Parry durant l'été.
En 2026, son travail prend une nouvelle dimension. Il sera photographe officiel du Wimfest à Maussane, avec Pete Doherty, Bandit Bandit et The Inspector Cluzo en tête d’affiche, et y présentera une série de photographies de scène durant toute la durée du festival.
La même année, il exposera en extérieur au Festival de la Camargue, au Centre du Scamandre à Vauvert, du 13 au 17 mai, avec une série intitulée La Camargue, terre de passion, consacrée à l’âme et aux traditions du territoire.
Actuellement, il travaille à l’illustration d’un guide sur Arles et ses alentours, préfacé par Christian Lacroix, qui salue « un travail personnel de photographe remarquable ».
Son travail s’articule autour de trois axes majeurs : la Camargue, la rue et la scène. Toujours avec la même intention : raconter. Car pour lui, chaque image est un récit — et dans une seule photographie, il y a mille histoires à inventer.
